Please pray for my friend Matt Wolfer as he was in a bad car accident Friday morning on his way to visit RBC. He is intensive care in a hospital in North Carolina where God and his family are watching over him.

SO yesterday was kind of rough at work. I was building a garden shed for my boss to put in his backyard. He always tells me that i hold my hand to close to the boards when i am nailing them together but i always just shrugged it off. Anyways i had my hand a little to close and one nail missed the 2x4 and just nicked my left index finger. This bled for a while and left my finger quite tender for the rest of the day. Needless to say i was a lot more careful for the next while. I was supposed to go look at a car in the evening since i blew the engine in mine last wednesday. So as the day went on i was paying less attention to what i was doing and thinking about the car i was going to be checking out. As it got to be almost 5:00 i was starting to frame the last wall for the shed. I was just nailing the fifth last stud on when the nailer shot a nail which glanced off the side of the top plate of the wall. I just looked around to see where it went because i didn't hear it hit anything. At about this time I felt a pretty fierce pain in my left thumb. I looked down to see about an inch of the 3 1/4" framing nail sticking out one side of my thumb and another inch of it on the other side. Me being the smart on I am decided that that shouldn't be in there so I pulled it out and threw it somewhere in the shop. I decided that i should call my boss, as he wasn't there at the time. I told him what happened and said I was going to go around the corner to his house to get his wife to wrap my thumb. I got the shop all shut down and headed over to his house. When I got over there i told his wife what happened and then headed for the couch because I was about to pass out. Anyway to make a long story short, I took a Tylenol 3 and my dad and sister came to pick me up. Last night we went down to the hospital where we proceeded to wait for 5 hours to be seen by a doctor who just told me to get a tetanus shot from my doctor and prescribed an antibiotic. So this morning my mom and i went to my doctor and he told me the same thing. Now I am going to go look for a car. The moral of the story is don't think about cars when you are framing a shed.

Well i Am still alive way up here in the north. I was kind of waiting for something drastic to happen before i posted again or till my sisters mentioned my lack of posts for like the millionth time. Anyway i think they are at like 196,752 but something drastic beat them. It SNOWED today. YES it is October 12 and we have had heavy snow blowing around all afternoon. it is pretty depressing when you think about it. Not only does it mean that summer is officially over but it also means that now i have to work out in the cold. For those of you who don't know i build gazebos. Iknow that is something you hear everday but yes i build gazebos too. We also build decks but that gets kind of hard to do after the ground freezes since we have to dig holes four feet into the ground for the footings. Other than the snow the next most exciting thing coming up in my life is the Rascal Flatts concert in Toronto on Nov. 1 which is also three days before my 19th birthday which is kind of exciting I guess. Then the next exciting things will be christmas and New Year's then coming to RBC for third and fourth terms. Anyhow i should wind this down and get on with my life. See ya in a couple months. Don't do anything i wouldn't do!!
